APEX Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical distributor in Singapore, is seeking a motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic logistics team in the East Region. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient picking, packing, and movement of goods while adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety standards. You will work closely with inventory controllers, supervisors, and transport partners to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate stock levels. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, physically fit, and comfortable operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided). Responsibilities
- Perform accurate picking, packing, and labeling of pharmaceutical products according to SOPs.
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyors after completing required training.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and assisting with stock reconciliations.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Prepare documentation for outbound shipments, including packing lists and delivery notes.
- Assist in implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec or equivalent qualification; relevant certification in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for inventory documentation and data entry.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and undergo required training (e.g., forklift operation).
