As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in receiving, storing, and dispatching electronic components, ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting smooth production flow. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of electronic components and materials.
- Store goods in designated locations using proper stacking and inventory control methods.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to production schedules.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Adhere to safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and report any hazards or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec or equivalent qualification; prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for accurate documentation and system entry.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and good housekeeping practices.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, standing, and moving goods for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
