Responsibilities
- Perform daily loading, unloading, and staging of chemical goods and raw materials.
- Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labeling according to standard operating procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts in compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely arrival and departure of shipments.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Ensure all documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments is accurate and filed correctly.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent education level.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to work in a chemical manufacturing environment adhering to strict safety guidelines.
- Basic proficiency in reading and writing in Malay or English.
- Possession of a valid forklift license is a strong advantage.
