Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to picking lists and shipment schedules.
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and log receipts in the inventory system.
- Organize and store stock in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (after training) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by adhering to housekeeping and safety protocols.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring goods are secured and documented correctly.
- Support process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting efficiency enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum NITEC or equivalent; relevant certification in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar logistics environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for accurate order processing and documentation.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg comfortably and safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including occasional weekends or overtime as required by operational needs.
