Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse operations including loading, unloading, picking, and packing of steel and aluminium materials.
- Operate company vehicles to deliver goods to clients or project sites safely and punctually.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Ensure warehouse area is clean, organized, and compliant with all workplace safety (WSH) standards.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (fueling, cleaning, reporting faults) to ensure roadworthiness.
- Assist in the preparation of delivery orders, invoices, and necessary shipping documentation.
- Support general production tasks as requested by the warehouse supervisor.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
- Must be physically fit to handle heavy goods and materials associated with the steel industry.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and site discipline.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a cohesive team.
- Must be able to start work immediately or on short notice.
