Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing shipments for both local deliveries and international export, ensuring proper documentation.
- Coordinate closely with internal departments such as Production, Sales, and Procurement to facilitate timely dispatch and material availability.
- Maintain precise inventory records through regular stock counts and data entry, identifying and reporting discrepancies promptly.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, if certified) safely and efficiently to move and store materials.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, and ensuring a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/STPM or equivalent qualification.
- Proven working experience (1-3 years) as a Warehouse Clerk, Storekeeper, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with modern warehouse practices and methods, including inventory control procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel) and inventory management software.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive team-player attitude.
- Forklift license would be an advantage.
