You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end flow of automotive components and materials, collaborating closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet and exceed operational goals. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, outbound dispatch, and inventory storage.
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse assistants to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Liaise with suppliers and 3PL partners to optimize delivery timelines and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Execute regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain 99%+ inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce strict Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to generate performance reports and track stock movements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement 5S methodologies to improve warehouse layout and efficiency.
- Manage the return and exchange process for automotive parts, ensuring proper documentation and quality control.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse operational teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and coordinate with external vendors.
- Sound knowledge of local shipping regulations and safety compliance standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Possession of a valid forklift license is highly desirable.
