Working in a modern warehouse facility, you will assist in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, maintain accurate inventory records, and support the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments. You will also collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to ensure safety standards are met and processes are optimised. The role offers exposure to warehouse management systems, barcode scanning, and basic reporting tools, giving you a solid foundation for future specialist or supervisory positions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and logging incoming goods.
- Organise and store inventory according to warehouse layout and SOPs.
- Prepare picking lists and support order fulfillment processes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts under supervision.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist in cycle counting activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the warehouse area.
- Support the preparation of shipping documents and coordinate with logistics partners.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Ability to lift moderate weights (up to 20kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Good numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate stock recording.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and basic warehouse management systems (training provided).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including occasional weekends, as per operational needs.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn new skills.
