Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
- Manage, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure high performance and safety compliance.
- Implement and maintain a robust Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies and prevent loss.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve workflow efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company security protocols at all times.
- Analyze logistics data and prepare reports to provide insights for inventory forecasting and budget management.
- Coordinate with transport and production departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar operational role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a team.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform duties that may require standing, walking, and lifting heavy items.
