Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate logistics activities with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely deliveries
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety and high performance
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Monitor warehouse metrics and generate reports on productivity, inventory levels, and shipment status
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to optimize warehouse workflows
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse safety standards
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with flexibility in shift timings
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English; proficiency in Malay is an advantage
