Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against documentation.
- Store goods in designated locations using proper stacking and storage techniques to maximize space utilization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (with certification preferred), and conveyors safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and company policies to foster a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets and continuous improvement goals.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, securing cargo, and preparing shipping documents as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years; physically fit to handle manual lifting (up to 25 kg) and prolonged standing.
- No prior warehouse experience required; willingness to learn and undergo on-the-job training.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping and documentation.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team setting.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high attendance and performance standards.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a proactive attitude toward hazard identification and prevention.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including occasional overtime, as operational needs demand.
- Preferred: Forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification through company-sponsored training.
