This is a crucial role that ensures the warehouse runs efficiently, meeting operational goals and client demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse associates, coordinating all daily operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your exceptional leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a highly motivated workforce, conducting regular training sessions, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and minimize costs. Furthermore, you will oversee inventory management, utilizing advanced warehouse management systems to track stock levels accurately and conduct regular audits. You will collaborate with various departments such as procurement and sales to streamline the supply chain and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and promoting a culture of safety among staff will be a key priority.
To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with demonstrated expertise in inventory management, shipment coordination, and team leadership. Strong familiarity with warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, WMS) is essential, as are excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You must have a proactive mindset, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. A certification in forklift operation or workplace safety would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient material handling.
- Prepare operational reports and collaborate with management to improve processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Certification in forklift operation and workplace safety (e.g., WHMIS, OSHA) is an advantage.
