Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
- Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock counts to maintain accuracy
- Implement and improve warehouse procedures to boost efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to meet shipping and receiving schedules
- Prepare operational reports and performance metrics for management review
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and ensure regular maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or related role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift license or equivalent equipment certification is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in logistics or supply chain preferred
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
