Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients via tele-consulting to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Develop and recommend tailored wealth portfolio strategies using OCBC's product suite, including equities, bonds, unit trusts, and insurance.
  • Monitor and review client portfolios regularly, providing proactive adjustments based on market conditions and client life changes.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and investment advisors to deliver holistic financial solutions.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to deepen client relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay updated on global economic trends, market movements, and new financial products to provide informed advice.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and market updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or portfolio consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products (equities, fixed income, alternatives) and portfolio construction principles.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as CMFAS modules, CFA, or CFP are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial planning software.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin) are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
