We are seeking a Wholesale AFC Analyst focused on Corporate Documentation and Collateral to join our Wholesale Banking team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers exposure to anti-financial crime controls, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation across corporate clients.
In this position, you will partner with Relationship Managers, Operations, and Compliance to ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation for client onboarding and ongoing due diligence. You will maintain robust records, support KYC and AML screening, and drive data quality improvements to strengthen the bank's control environment. You will also help develop and maintain standard operating procedures, assist with periodic reviews, and contribute to risk-based decision making.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and secure corporate documentation for wholesale banking clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Review documents against regulatory and internal policy requirements; flag gaps and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Maintain and organize document repositories, case files, and audit trails with meticulous record-keeping.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Operations, and Compliance to support KYC/AML screening and due diligence.
- Prepare standard operating procedures and support periodic reviews and control enhancements.
- Assist in risk assessment, data quality initiatives, and reporting for AFC programs.
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues on documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and efficiency gains in documentation workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Law, Business, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in AFC, AML/KYC, or corporate documentation in a financial services setting.
- Solid knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and compliance frameworks applicable in Malaysia or regional markets.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with document management tools and banking systems.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and maintain high ethical standards.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
