Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize wireless communication systems and network architectures.
- Conduct comprehensive RF site surveys and signal measurements to ensure optimal coverage and capacity.
- Perform real-time troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues within the wireless network.
- Collaborate with field technicians and project managers to oversee the deployment of new base stations and antennas.
- Monitor network performance metrics and generate detailed reports for system improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, site maps, and equipment inventory.
- Ensure all installations comply with national telecommunications standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance for the integration of emerging technologies like 5G and IoT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in wireless networking or telecommunications.
- Strong background and hands-on experience with RF planning and optimization tools.
- In-depth knowledge of cellular technologies (LTE, GSM, WCDMA) and Wi-Fi protocols.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network outages and connectivity bottlenecks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA Wireless, CWNA) are highly advantageous.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mandaluyong City and perform field visits as required.
