You will leverage advanced OSS tools and data analytics to monitor network health, troubleshoot complex performance issues, and implement strategic optimization plans. Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze wireless network performance daily using RAN and OSS tools to ensure optimal operations.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to network KPIs such as call drop rates, handover success, and data throughput.
- Perform cluster optimization and neighbor list management to improve coverage and capacity across the Cebu region.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of drive test data and post-processing to validate network improvements and identify blind spots.
- Collaborate with the technical field teams to coordinate hardware troubleshooting and antenna adjustments.
- Develop and implement optimization strategies for new site integrations and technology upgrades (LTE/5G).
- Prepare detailed performance reports and technical recommendations for stakeholders and project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in Wireless Network Optimization or RAN Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in OSS platforms (such as Huawei U2020, Ericsson ENM, or Nokia NetAct).
- In-depth understanding of 4G LTE and 5G NR air interface protocols and network architecture.
- Experience with drive test tools (TEMS, Nemo) and post-processing software (Actix, Windcatcher).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable engineering tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a contract-based professional environment.
