Join a multinational semiconductor company as a Work-At-Height Technician in Woodlands. This contract role is ideal for maintenance professionals who excel in high-reliability environments and safety-driven work. You will be responsible for ensuring safe access to elevated equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting manufacturing uptime in a fast-paced production setting.
As part of the maintenance team, you will conduct routine inspections of elevated work systems, verify the integrity of fall-protection equipment, and assist with installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of critical production equipment. You will document work performed, escalate issues promptly, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to maximize line availability and product quality. You will also coordinate with cross-functional teams, adhere to lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Perform safe work-at-height tasks using approved ladders, platforms, and fall-protection equipment in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Inspect, test, and maintain elevated access systems, ensuring ongoing compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Assist with installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of critical manufacturing equipment located at height.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and calibrations on high-reach machinery to minimize downtime.
- Record all maintenance activities, parts used, and observations in the shift log and asset management system.
- Adhere to lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a safe working area around elevated tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to support improvement projects and uptime initiatives.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field; relevant hands-on experience preferred.
- Experience performing maintenance or work-at-height tasks in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and fall-protection equipment; familiarity with WSH guidelines is a plus.
- Ability to read simple mechanical/electrical schematics and operate basic diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment and adaptability to shift schedules if required.
