Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and comprehensive audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ensure all site operations strictly adhere to the WSH Act and specific safety requirements mandated by LTA and SP.
- Organize and facilitate daily tool-box meetings and safety induction training for all site personnel and subcontractors.
- Lead investigations into any accidents, near-misses, or dangerous occurrences and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop, review, and update Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
- Manage and maintain all mandatory safety documentation, including equipment certifications and permit-to-work systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters between the client, consultants, and relevant authorities.
Qualifications
- Must possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Level B).
- Proven experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) or Singapore Power (SP) projects is essential.
- Solid understanding of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act and related subsidiary legislation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence safety behaviors on-site.
- Ability to work independently and make critical safety decisions under pressure.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation.
- Willingness to work in the Alexandra North / Central Region area.
