Camel Power, a global leader in energy storage solutions, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Workshop Assistant Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Balok, Pahang. As a Workshop Assistant Supervisor, you will be the right hand to the Workshop Supervisor, taking on a leadership role in managing staff workflows, overseeing complex equipment maintenance, and ensuring that all output meets our rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities
- Assist the Workshop Supervisor in daily operational planning and technician task allocation.
- Supervise and mentor workshop staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair of workshop machinery and specialized equipment.
- Implement and enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols within the workshop.
- Monitor inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and consumables to prevent operational downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed works to ensure compliance with company specifications.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports regarding workshop performance and equipment status.
- Coordinate with the logistics and manufacturing departments to align workshop output with broader production goals.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or heavy machinery environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role is highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical components, or industrial machinery.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
- Familiarity with local safety regulations (OSHA/DOSH requirements).
- Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities in a high-pressure environment.
