You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, monitor performance KPIs, and provide recommendations that enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reports and dashboards to track zonal performance KPIs.
- Analyze regional operational data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for business process improvement.
- Support zonal leadership in developing data-backed strategies to achieve sales and operational targets.
- Conduct deep-dive diagnostics on market performance to explain variances and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure data integrity and streamline reporting processes across the Southern region.
- Present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Continuously refine analytical models to predict market trends and forecast demand accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, operations research, or a similar business intelligence role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA/Macros), SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the FMCG or retail industry is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Malay; strong business acumen.
